April 25th, 2008 impressaclub

Citizens of the United States, European Union, Swiss Confederation, Liechtenstein, Canada, and Japan DO NOT need visas for entering Ukraine anymore. The rule is valid for short term visits, up to 90 days. After the 1st of September, 2005 it has turned from a temporary campaign to a constant clause of the Ukrainian Law. However, for the reconfirmation, we would recommend to contact the Ukrainian Consulate in your country before travelling. We hope that the new visa regulations will be supportive for your Ukrainian travel.

For obtaining a tourist visa to Ukraine at the Ukrainian Consulates for citizens of other countries, the following will be required:
- Visa support (letter of invitation and/or hotel(s) confirmation)
- Your passport
- Photo(s)
- Consular processing fee receipts
- Visa Application Form

The list of the documents is not final. Consulate may require additional documents. We advise to contact the Consulate in your country for detailed information.

To apply for any of the visas listed below, fill out a Visa Application form at the most convenient Ukrainian Consular Office. You can also fill out the application by downloading it from here. russiaflag_500.gifAll foreign visitors (except citizens of Former Soviet Republics) are required to have a Russian visa to enter the Russian Federation. Among citizens of former Soviet Republics only citizens of Georgia and Turkmenistan need a visa to enter Russia.
In order to get a visa, travelers need to obtain an invitation from a Russian citizen or company, which is submitted to a Russian embassy or consulate, where the actual visa is issued.
Every foreign visitor who comes to Russia must register with the local immigration authorities within 72 hours upon arrival.
There are many types of Russian visas, we provide assistance with the following visas:

This type of visa is issued for the travelers who come to Russia for tourism purposes. This visa is easiest to get and the least expensive of all visas. Tourist visa can be obtained on the basis of an invitation from a tourist agency, registered with the Department of Consular Service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs according to the Russian law, or on the basis of a hotel confirmation. Tourist visas are issued for a period for up to 30 days. They can be single-entry or double-entry.

Business visas
Business visas are popular among business people. Officially business visas are intended for foreign citizens who travel to Russia to meet their business partners, take part in negotiations, sign a contract, visit an exhibition, etc. You do not need to plan hotel reservation or an itinerary to get a business visa. These visas do not imply official employment in Russia (for this purpose a work visa should be obtained). Business visas allow stay in Russia up to 12 months and can be single-, double- or multiple-entry. Since November 1, 2002, business invitations are issued by the Passport and Visa Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. To apply for an invitation, your inviting company should be officially registered with the passport and Visa Department at Ministry of International Affairs.

Transit Visa
Transit Visa is required for travelers who visit other countries via Russia. Transit visas are valid for not more than 3 days and can be single-entry or double-entry.To obtain this type of visa, you need to submit a copy of your travel documents, including a copy of your visa to the country of destination and the air /train tickets.
Transit visas are not required for those who stay at the airport for less than 24 hours without leaving its premises. Transit visa is required for the travelers who stay in Russia more than 24 hours or when a traveler needs to change the airport or the terminals.

RUSSIAN VISA REQUIREMENTS:
